Currently, there are no legal restrictions on the sale of fly agaric, but in recent months, the Public Health Agency has investigated a potential narcotic classification of the substance muscimol, found in fly agaric. The matter was recently handed over to the government, which will make a decision on the issue.
Exactly what this ban will look like is still unclear. The investigation seems to have primarily focused on candies and vapes containing muscimol isolate. These can become very potent and difficult to dose correctly, which has led to some adverse effects for users.
Classifying fly agaric as a narcotic would be a great shame and would mean that we can no longer sell them. No decision has been made on the matter yet, so let's see what happens.
