100% dried and finely ground Bobinsana bark, without additives. Origin: Peru.

Bobinsana (Calliandra angustifolia) is a flowering shrub that grows along riverbanks in the Amazon, primarily in Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia.

The plant holds a central place as herbal medicine among several South American indigenous tribes, where it is regarded as a "heart opener" with the ability to facilitate emotional processing and deep dream states. It is botanically classified as an oneirogen – a dream-influencing herb – and is traditionally consumed as a longer course to induce vivid and lucid dreams, and for deeper meditation.

In traditional medicine among peoples like the Shipibo-Conibo in Ucayali, the bark and roots have also long been used as a broad tonic – brewed as tea or soaked in water – to treat rheumatism, arthritis, fatigue, and as a general strengthening agent for blood and the immune system.

Scientific analyses of Calliandra angustifolia have identified saponins, alkaloids, and phenols in the bark, some of which exhibit COX-1 inhibitory activity, partly explaining the plant's traditional use against inflammation and pain.
